Back to hot and unnecessarily humid here. Just let dogs out to run & it's like walking into a sauna already. Daisy will be hugging her fan today!!
Did get them out for a stroll yesterday evening. Neighbor has a new pekinese puppy. It looks like a giant woolly worm. Nothing but fur with two eyes poking out. The girls were so confused. Pup didn't say a word and I'm not sure the girls knew what it was. They eye balled it then slowly retreated into the yard to graze. Even Annie was speechless.
Daisy is still flying like a pigeon. She stands on her toes & revs up those wings. Then she'll do touch & goes down the yard. I think she might have quit laying & just feels good. Maybe? Maybe...without the feeling of an impending egg she's more inclined to fly.

They are easy to get attached too. Since my city girls are social gadflies, I can't tell you how many times someone said they are going to think twice before eating turkey again. LOL! One of guys was driving by yesterday evening, stopped his truck, yelled out "Hello Annie" who promptly responded by yelling back. He drove off laughing like a hyena. Never bothered to say hi to me....

Cute Snake babies Alicia!

We are having a cold spell!! Its 72 this morning....yippee!! Girls are loving the lack of humidity!!

Daisy is molting. She's in a snit about it. Doesn't want to be touched. If you reach down to give her a pet, she averts her head and gives a sharp sounding "put". Drama queen! She does , however, still perch on the arm of my chair. Apparently it's ok for her to to reach over peck something on my shirt or my hair...but I'm forbidden to touch her. She obviously has molting rules I need to respect. Turkeys are so funny....
