Cedar Creek....those babies wanted to be in the house watching movies like Nemo! Cuties!

Went to the neighborhood super bowl party. Ate too much junk. Guess that's ok sometimes. Nice thing about the neighbors....the game was on but nobody cared. Did get a lot of questions about the girls. And several folks wishing I had let Daisy come. Daisy steals food....can you imagine?

The neighbors do love Daisy....especially the kids. Not sure how long that would last if they found her on their buffet standing in the Seven Layer dip. She has been terrific at the birthday parties shes attended. But I warned them not to put out food till she leaves. And no I'm not taking her out of town with me....she would demand the window seat and extra snacks from the flight attendant. She's a great turkey....just a bit entitled.

I bundled up during a break in the rain & took a walk with Daisy. We both enjoyed just strolling down the side walk. She grazed on our early weeds. Also picked up & hugged on my teenagers while giving them a few seeds. All the girls were happy. With all the rain we hadn't gone for a stroll in awhile. Daisy was so excited to get out! I swear that bird can smile!!

One of my favorite things is being in the gardens with the girls. They have to supervise everything. If I'm weeding, they have to sort through my pile of weeds. If I lay down a tool they have to discuss it. They love my ladder. I really enjoy their help!

Well....it didn't affect the Memphis School District, but two districts east of us closed and one district south of us delayed start. We did have s bunch of wrecks. Let the girls out & they had fun pecking at it...

They've closed schools here just on the threat of snow. We have no snow removal capabilities. We usually get ice vs snow.

We've had a few school closings due to flu too. But how about those two cruise ships being quarantined? Can you imagine being confined to your room for a few weeks? Cruising with thousands of people is not something I'd ever do to begin with... but I feel for the people stuck in rooms with no windows.
