TRIMMING SPURS

Watching dubbing videos on YouTube makes my stomach churn a bit, but will you be documenting how you dub your birds? You seem to be extremely knowledgeable in your care of chickens and I would be very interested in your preferred practice and method when it comes to dubbing birds.
My dubbing skills are nothing to brag about. I think process is one likely to be censored by moderators and will not go over with many people.

A show bird person should do it. I do it now to protect against frost bite and used to do it because it improved odds for my games. There are particulars to dubbing for looks I do not adhere to.

Spur trimming ,but my rooster didn't have long one
Discomfort associated with the trimming is very short in duration. Spurs partially broken off like a hang nail do seem to cause discomfort. Stress associated with being restrained is a bigger deal, especially with birds not used to being handled.
