my co-worker's BIL is going to go to china to get stem cell work done on his eyes.
back in 2004, he lost his eyesight after a battle with strep B pneumonia. he's taken life in stride since then but his life has become total darkness.
then they watched a show on NBC about a child who was born blind, who had stem cell treatments done in china, regain his sight.
they applied and he has recently been accepted to have stem cell treatments done on his optic nerve.
i know this is a very sticky subject with stem cell and recent accounts with products produced in china, but i just ask that you keep him and his family in your prayers since this is going to be a very very long haul.
