I cracked open my first egg today, which is actually the third egg laid (the first two are so small and cute, I don't want to crack them open
). This egg was huge, so I figured it would be a double yolker... but it had three tiny yolks and two egg whites!
This is also the last "good egg" I found and that was on thursday (8/14). I found two on friday, but they were both soft shelled and the last eggs I found at all. I did move them to a new coop on friday, before they laid the soft eggs, so I guess I need to give them time to adjust.
They have been eating layer feed for about 2 weeks.
