He's clearly a better silkie than the people at tractor supply are used to, to my knowledge black / dark grey legs and a walnut comb are par for the course with silkies and they are trying to say he's not based on those features.

X2If she got him for show she wouldn't have gotten him from TSC. Calling him bad quality is rude and offensive. He doesn't have to be "show quality" for him to be a beautiful and amazing rooster. Just my 2 cents.
Looks like a Silkie or Silkie cross. His comb looks a bit like a rose comb. Is he bantam sized?Does anyone know what breed of chicken this is? No one seems to know and i just went to the new York State fair and there were hundreds of roosters but none like this. View attachment 1526388
Bad/hatchery - what's the problem ? He is a silky that does not meet breed standard. TSC consistently has the most bad/poor quality silkies that I have ever seen.
