I have a female duck who started acting weird. walking funny, slow, she is eating and drinking fine. she seems a little lighter then the other ducks. she puts her wing down to the side when walking as if unbalanced. she was puking up tadpoles she had ate. she brought up over 12 of them. she throws up when you pick her up or after drinking. her chest looks and feels like a water balloon. Help What do we do?

How long has this been going on? Is her chest her crop area? @Isaac 0 any ideas? What do you feed, including treats, supplements, and feed.
She has been acting weird for a couple of days now. She is getting worse. She is free range and eats bugs and tadpoles out of the water in our backyard. Then they get put up at night with cracked corn. Its my son's duck. First time duck owners. She sounds like a water bottle when she is moved. I feel soo bad.

Sometimes we give them some watermelon that is about the only thing they will eat. Very picky ducks. Anything in the water or cracked cord is their basic diet.

Do you feed them any real feed? That is your issue, yo need a stable duck food, with plenty of niacin, and all the other stuff, if you don't have a stable duck food, they will develop niacin deficiencies, and plenty, of other issues.

WOW I will try to find some feed with niacin in it then. Thank you!

No problem! Do you have a local tractor supply, a CHS, WHS or something like that? I would suggest Purina Duck pellets, unless, who old are they? For ducklings, 10 weeks and under, feed them purina flock raiser crumbles. Purina is the #1 suggested brand on here, and the perfect diet!
