HI!

I am having trouble keeping the humidity between 40-55%. Any suggestion on how to do this would be great help.

Thank you,

It will go down to 31% by morning and I fill a few times a day. I did add a small bowl with water in it. I thought it might help keep it more at 45%. I am using an hovabator incubator. I had great luck last year and had no problem with humidity.

Did you incubate at the same time of the year last year?
Maybe it's just drier in your house now?
30-45% is fine...it's the overall average humidity during the first 18 days (for chickens) that's most important...keeping an eye on air cell growth or weight loss.
