that's great! I've never had any luck with hatching, so chose to just buy chicks when I need 'em lol

I like hatching and have tried it before it's just that I only have 1 incubator and if I can have 2 batches of turkey eggs going at the same time I get way more chicks. And let's be honest with ourselves here...that's kinda the goal...right? ;) :P

obviously. Haha. I had the weirdest dream that I had at least thirty eggs set to hatch and sixteen of them hatched, but I only had room to keep four of the chicks, so I had to decide which ones to keep :lau
 
Well, today is a sad day. I went to feed my owl and found him dead. No apparent cause, and yesterday he was normal.

Wow, this is going to take some getting used to. It sounds silly, but I loved that little guy.

I know it must of been a shock, but at least he died peacefully...

That's terrible. :hit That little guy was so personable and famous here. :hit I'm so sorry, KFG. :hugs And I can see how you loved him- who wouldn't? He was an epic gift from God for that too-short season of your life...
