About a million posts back, I mentioned that my chickens have mites and/or lice. I just made a thread about, if anyone knows how to help me.

Hmm I'm not sure. Is it a perennial? (Does come back every year) Let me look in my flower book. (Which will be later this afternoon since there is currently a sleeping baby on my chest. Here are a few pics, I really hope these help!

Actually, DE is why all my chickens have mites/lice. I got two roosters from someone (Dusty and Pumpkin) who were infested with mites/lice. Before introducing them to my other chickens, I used DE on them, thinking all the mites/lice would die and they could go with my other chickens. I was wrong. Now all my chickens have mites/lice.I am not sure if you believe nor ever used it, but DE might help. I haven't used it before, but a lot of folks suggest it! I hope you find a cure!

How many times did you dust them? Usually it's every couple weeks for about a month. I used wood ash on mine last year.Actually, DE is why all my chickens have mites/lice.
