Mom decided she want chicks NOW. Only problem tractor supply only had meaties They were getting a new shipment today but we didn't have two hours to wait for them.

That stinks. My mom had said I could have some more last week and none of our local stores had any. We ended up having to drive almost an hour away to get them. I hope you can get yours soon! Let me know what you get! I got 4 Rhode island reds and 2 leghorns

We're probably gonna get them from a guy my parents used to get them from all the time, most likely Golden Nuggets.

I went to TSC and they only had chicks. No duckies

I wanted to hold a duckling! (dunno if we will get any this year, we might get geese instead)

Cool! That's good! I'm glad you still have hope!! And can get some. When I was going to get some and no one has them, I thought I was doomed. I lost hope, but my mom and dad said let go and get the chicks. Just when I thought all hope was lost

BTW- to those of you who were following my escape-artist dog's escapades, she just turned herself in to face her charges at the front door.
Boy, can that Lhasa Apso run!!! We clocked her once at 37 MPH!!!!! This morning, she dug out from under our fence and fled down our street. We know better than to go after her- the one time we chased her in our car, she ended up 15 miles AWAY FROM OUR HOUSE!!!!!
So it's become ritual to just wait for her to come back- even though it is a fear that she could be hit by a car, but we have to take that chance...

LOL. Boy, I wish it was my MOM who wanted chicks like that- and BOOM, she'd get them!

I really wonder why, when,I want something, it doesn't turn into reality immediately like that???
