ETA I'm also ordering from Chicken's For Backyard's.
Yeah there shipping is high, but eh

What about switching out the silkie for another EE bantam (then you only get one unsexed chick) and getting rid of at least one of the two standard hens. Reason I say silkie is they might not do as well with other birds and your cold weather.

So guys...April Fools Day is coming up and I actually remembered this year!

I play practical jokes all the time. Like when my mom is steaming vegetables, she tends to get distracted and forget them. So being the lovely son that I am, I will turn them off when they are done, wait 5 minutes and then walk into the room where she is and nonchalantly sniff and say "you smell something? Like...burning?" And then Mom will FREAK out!

I get away with this because I saved the vegetables, so she cant be very mad at me

That's Interesting. I don't know much about ducks, so.. how is the duckling white if it's supposed to be yellow?
