One doe I had kid kept her kids for 6-months and got bred when the kids were 4-months... She instantly started weaning them.

Ok I was just curious. Both Janet and Lucy are both still nursing Eclipse and Sydney, those two were born around the 10th of February so about 5 months now. They're the only Does still nursing kids and if they are bred it was probably around the same time as Madge.

And are they gone???

Lol, I always picked goats with bad personalities!

I always see something else that attracts me more than personalities... My first doe was a mess but Great hips, She had an awesome udder, legs lined up great with shoulder, etc... Worst goat ever tho.

I don't know how my sister does it but she always picks goats with nice personalities, I always look at the hooves, build and udder cause that's about all I can see when they run through the sale but some how she can tell their personality. She's definitely good at it.

I don't know how my sister does it but she always picks goats with nice personalities, I always look at the hooves, build and udder cause that's about all I can see when they run through the sale but some how she can tell their personality. She's definitely good at it.

My sister also can... But I know how she does it!

She hates goats but normally goes with me and dad to look at new goats.... Well, goats are attracted to her like lightning and she will tell me that goat is bad.... Me but look at the hips, and the top rump, oh, and look how straight the top line is, etc and if I buy them they are exactly like she says... But I couldn't see it.

I like it when I can buy a goat and I get all in one, lol.

I have never bought from a stock yard so that is probably a lot harder than going and getting to look at the animals first hand, and spend time with them.

Nice. I've been watching my sister and I am getting better at picking them, this last time we were there I actually picked out goats she picked out
