Me: *how I really want to kill somebody because I'm just plain irritated, *stuff* and also envisioning gory deaths of TFD characters* Nothing.
Mom: I know that's not true.
Me: Stuff.
Mom: Come on....
Me: About how gorgeous this wallpaper is.
Mom: -_- Tell me.
Me: I don't exactly want to.
Mom: Sarah....
Me: I'M THINKING ABOUT STUFF, OKAY?!?!
Mom: Go to your room. And never raise your voice again.

Try to think about it from your Mom's POV. She's your mom. She's gonna be interested in what her daughter is because she cares about you. So she asks a question.

What are you thinking? is a very common conversation starter (that I do not like ). It's a way to get to know you better. Then when you act like you're hiding something from her, you really turn on her Mom-radar. Is something wrong??
