Only reason she's in quarantine is because she came from a chicken house, she might not be sick but she may carry something for a little while. I don't think she's sick or anything, she keeps her self too clean and tidy for that.I don't think much of quarantine, unless a chicken is obviously sick or is really important...but it's good for safety measures.
She'd probably do better with company. Be happier. Maybe put one of those BO cockerels in there? I guess you might not want to risk it though.![]()
Wow that's a long time. I think my uncles usually feather after then that. He's got a 2 month (maybe younger) that's already half feathered.I don't remember...older than three months though. The males were much slower to feather than the female, and Squirmy was the slowest of all.
