I just want to point out a few things... xD
Firstly, Bolt is an animated dog, who can talk. If you're looking for realistic dogs, don't even bother with Bolt.
Secondly, all dog breeds, and individual dogs, have different personalities. You can't just hate all dogs because a few dogs didn't turn out exactly the way you wanted. XD
Some dogs stay behind, some don't. It's all up to who they are and how they're trained. (Am I the only one who doesn't expect my dog to stick around in a fire, etc.?)
Thirdly, the main problem is people. They buy animals that they like the look of, but they don't bother to read up on the important stuff. Which leads to the dogs behaviour being "messed up", with confused loyalties.
I'm 1000% sure that a day with my dog, or some cute little puppies, would show you some hecking good doggos.
