Dad says I can keep three, I will have to pick which ones to keep.

oh and those 5 stupid annoying bantam roosters!

I'd say get rid of the Bantams.

I know for sure I am going to keep the cuckoo maran.

I own 12 banty roos, thank you very much. And every single one is a tame and placid male.
They're far better than any standard I've ever owned.
And I got like four of them from people (including an Italian dude with a truck... hehe) who thought they were worthless little brats like y'all think.

I have a rogue duck. All my ducks lay in the coop and before 6:00am except one, one of my spring blue Swedes, she refuses to lay an egg in the coop no matter how long I leave them locked up be it 9:00 or 10:00. She always runs immediately to this brush pile as soon as the door is open. I can't tell if she's trying to go broody or not. I think I'll put out some fake eggs and see what she does. I've got 5 dozen eggs already and I get 7 a day with 5 more that could lay anyday now so I'm about to be swamped in eggs I think I can afford to let some one brood some.

I'll bet a week's feed that she is trying to. Go ahead with the fake eggs- good idea to get rid of some of the excess eggs....
And get more excess ducks. Congratulations.

She probably is. Yup! I think Big Mama may be too, the other day she was sitting on eggs at 9:30 just because she could. Then she was making that weird half quack half something else noise.
