True Green Breed?

On a whim this spring I picked up 2 sexed pullet chicks that the lady said were called True Green. (Of course one of them turned out to be a cockerel.) I am fairly new to chickens, and I was wondering if they breed true, or if they are basically an Easter Egger. I haven’t really heard anything about them, & information is hard to find. I think he is a handsome boy, but I really don’t know if I want to keep an EE rooster. Anyone else raise these birds?

They are a hybrid or strain, not a true standard breed.

Keeping a rooster is purely personal choice.

ETA: They might breed true for certain things.. like egg color it seems. Maybe the green's will breed true for feather color as well.. within a certain range anyways.. and YES for egg color.. they were created JUST to breed true for EGG color, according to my understanding.. maybe with the addition of feed conversion factored in.

Thanks for the information! I originally was thinking of keeping him to breed for egg color. So I guess he will stay & we will see what genetics he throws to his offspring. (As long as he is a nice boy) I guess he might make some pretty EE if nothing else
