I was/am truly concerned for the people going through hurricane season. And the storms. Looks like another one is coming to the coast.

In a previouse thread I started about Gustav I was led astray and got into a semi debate with someone about issues that I had wished I hadn't, and didn't mean anyway.

Everybody in the path of Ike stay safe and best wishes and prayers to you.

I believe the first gusts from the hurricane are finally reaching Michigan. It was supposed to track through here this afternoon and evening as a tropical depression, with wind gusts ranging from 30-40 mph. We've had very heavy rain for two days that was only semi-hurricane related, so it's hard to tell if the tropical depression is actually here yet.

Time to check my favorite weather-related websites...

    Gotta love Louisiana.

Hope all you Texans stayed safe during Ike!

Look at it this way. Y'all get a nice hurrication (hurricane vacation).
