I bought an egg Candler at a farm supply store and they work wonderful on my white eggs but I can't see a thing in my light green or olive eggs. I'm in a dark room and when I put a colored egg on it there is zero visibility. Is this normal? I've been candling my whites and using them as the gauze on monitoring them all and hoping for the best :/

You may need a stronger light, darker eggs can be problematic. Making sure the seal is tight around the egg too so the light can't escape should help. I also find holding the egg with airsac up and putting the candler on top can helps too.

Good luck with your eggs :thumbsup
