So they were vent sexed at the hatchery - when "they" said they verified them were they saying they (the seller you got them from) also sexed them and, if so, did they expand on what method they used in doing that? There are MANY old wives tales out there that people subscribe to in "sexing" chicks and most are simply a matter of dumb luck 50/50 shot of actually proving accurate.

Are these current photos of the little BR? She/he does not look like a 3-4 week old bird in the photos.

@Ol Grey Mare, sorry for the confusion. My OP was about the 3-4 week olds. When you asked about posting some, I included this 1 week old.

No apologies needed - was just a bit confused is all (doesn't take much these days, lol) -- just didn't want to have you dealing with a failure to thrive/develop chick on top of potential mis-sex.
