Trying to judge air cell development on eggs with detatched membranes

Last year I ordered some runner eggs and most of them got here with detached air sacs. On day 25 I put the seven that were fertilized into egg cartons and they all hatched. I never paid any attention to air cells either - just made sure the temp and humidity were steady.
Good luck.

I should mention that they were upright in the incubator with a turner the first 25 days. I never put them on their sides. It was one of the incubators that sits on a cradle.

I wish you could show a comparision of your little egg to one of more normal size. I hope the hatch goes well. Sorry about you other little one. I guess there isn't any way to tell if it was realted to the membrane or not.

Tia~ Thanks! I am tentativly beginning to think it doesn't matter so much as long as the membrane wasn't actually torn, and that if they make it past the first 10 days or so, they may be just like any other egg with the same chances.

BTW, I maybe have an internal pip! I see a small area poking up and down along one side, and that little egg is rocking in the bator.

Scott, what day to you seem to see internal piping with the Calls?

No internal pip yet, was wrong, but is still rocking like crazy!
