I've never seen a hatchery-produced sexlink with a rose comb. It looks like a barnyard mix to me. And a cockerel.

Yeah I was thinking the comb is already super red, and will probably only get more red. At least the farm will swap him out for a hen free of charge. Just a shame to give up one I've bonded with so well. Wish cockerels weren't illegal here.
