Trying Ultra Kibble vrs Mazuri game bird breeder

The Mazuri is a little smaller my turkeys eat it right up and it lasts longer than the other turkey feed from a local mill...I tried one bag of the Layena game bird breeder chow as it was cheaper and easier to get my birds billed it all over chickens too so it was a waste...I'm going to stay with the UK for my chickens and Bourbons they don't care for the Mazuri and leave the other turkeys on the Mazuri breeder. So far my favorite is the Ultra Kibble then would be the Mazuri. I have another friend who says I will really like my hatch-ability using the UK in 3 weeks I'll be setting my Delaware eggs for my breeding program I should start a thread for that I don't have a control group but I've hatched enough eggs from other people to tell a few things

Got my Mazuri Exotic Gamebird Breeder feed yesterday. Large fowl cleaned it up. I like the looks of it. It is much smaller than the Ultra Kibble & more like the color of light tan pellets as opposed to the yellow of the UK. Absolutely no dust in the bag. When I got my bag of UK it had a pretty good amount of fines in the bag, even though it was not supposed to. This stuff fills up containers for only being 40 lbs. I did notice that the UK that was in the feeder was left in favor of the Mazuri. Only time will tell how it works & how long it lasts compared to cheaper feed. I still have some UK for supplements. Still haven't put out my forage cake.

I switched to mazuri game bird breeder in March. The effect has been outstanding! Should have done it a long time ago. I have in the past fed purina layena pellets (with my own supplements) or a chicken layer feed from manna pro, or a gamebird breeder crumbles from layena. None of them are anywhere close. My birds waste almost no feed now. With crumbles they waste alot, but these little kibbles are tiny and dust free.
The cocks activity has increased and i am getting better hatchability also.
The extra cost is well worth it for me.
