TSA wants to double security fee

If I were going to mess up the system, I'd just park a carbomb in a parking garage and take a taxi home.. Shouldn't we be searching every car that enters a garage?
That was the first attack years before 911. carbomb in tradetowers underground garage. All tv and radio was out for 3 days in nyc.

Gotta ask...

When was the last time the TSA stopped a "terrorist" plot that WASN'T run by one of our intelligence agencies? All I can think of is the underwear dude, and anyone that stupid is gonna get caught anyway.

Royd's right - what happens when the TSA shows up on buses? Trains? You see where this is going. The Feds (not sure if TSA or not) have already been setting up checkpoints in some states. If anyone's paranoid, it's our government. Even better: unmanned spy drones are being launched from 63 locations in 20 states. Somebody needs to start a fund to reward the first patriot to shoot one down.

No, the TSA shouldn't double its fees. It should not exist. It's inept, paranoid, violates people's rights, and is overall useless. There are many, many, MANY places besides airplanes where terrorists could strike - malls, subways, basically anywhere that's crowded. If someone REALLY wants to blow up a bunch of people, the TSA is not going to stop them. The obvious solution, of course, is to have a policeman in every home. No crime or terrorism! Or freedom!

The TSA is exactly why I hate the idea of flying. I've flown once, and I never want to again, unless it's absolutely necessary. I don't know about you, but I don't like the idea of being groped by a perverted bureaucrat that was dredged up from the bottom of society.

Nice rant
How many years have the police been flying planes over most city ?

Not all of the TSA employees are from NC. They do hire some from GA. also. I, for one, take a certain pleasure in being groped now and then. At my age I take my pleasures when I can. In fact it is my main reason for flying.

Hi Q9

My age does not matter but lets just say I am old enough to have the free time that I do use to study real facts. Mostly letters am memos from the time. History threw the eyes of those who were there.

As for Q9, I dont claim to know what he thinks but he does know a lot about Perl.

I would like to see some letter or memo that said what Japan was going to do.

There on record along with others detailing the US plan to entice japan in to making an attack to draw us in to the war.

I dont have them saved but there out there.

Yea right

When you say we enticed Japan to attack how did we do that ?
We did want them to stop invading China and we did put economic penalties in place to get them to stop.

My God, Royd!! I have been to Middleburg and you have got to stop drinking the spiked water.
Bloomberg is trying to forbid any sugary drink over 16oz. in NYC. If you don't see a problem with such arbitrary, onerous rules, you are the one with blinders.
