I’m thinking the little bantam is a tiny fella now. Comb just starting pinking up over the last week.

Still looks Mille Fleur to me. Many of mine don’t begin to get the total M Fleur pattern until they’re older.

I agree, thanks for the update. I just got 6 chicks and am wondering if the more brightly coloured ones are male. I’ll update if they all get sold.

How old is it here? I got 3 Mille fleur at TSC and have been trying to figure out sex. I am guessing they are close to 4 weeks old.

Sorry, incredibly off topic: as your porcelain d'uncles mature, would you mind keeping us notified on behavior? My show bird just died so I bought two porcelain d'Uccles to replace him. I was curious if they were a good choice or not and was wondering if you would discover any good taming methods.

I think he was about 5 weeks old at the time. I cannot really tell with yours, try taking individual pictures of each bird without the red lamp. Even then they look a bit young to accurately sex, 4 weeks you can start guessing but in 6+ weeks it’s more a sure thing.
