I purchased 8 black chicks labeled “barred rock pullets” 3 weeks ago. They are feathering out differently than I expected Here I have added a photo of 3 of them. Anyone have these?

That link is helpful, thank you! I wonder if the last one with the brown feathering is a partridge rock. The chicks look more brown in the link, but once feathered out there certainly are looking similar. So maybe this bin was several different types of Plymouth rocks? Not mentioned before, one of the chicks I didn’t add a photo of has 5 toes. And another one is now clearly a bantam size but with 4 toes. This has been a fun experienceThe first two probably are but the third one is something else.
Near the bottom of the following page are pictures of several varieties of Plymouth rock chicks including barred.

No tufts forming. Some of their tails stick out similar to leghorns, but I think that’s too soon to tell.Unless it is a flaw, the 5 toed chicks must be either silkie, houdan, sultan, dorking or faverolle. Do any have tufts of feathers beginning on their heads?
Did the TSC have an employee supervising the chick brooders or were customers able to handle them?
Oh I sure hope you are right! That would be a lovely mix up for usI think the last two are olive eggers, and the first one could be, too, or maybe a black Jersey Giant.
