i have a dozen red sex link hens ..and they lay HUGE brown eggs... its interesting fitting them into egg crates since even my crates that are labelled jumbo are too small.. my mom and aunt who buy them dont bother to close the lids they just close it slightly..since you dont wanna crush your eggs...

but my dirty dozen lay great

I have one red sex link. She was the first to lay, long before everyone else, and she is the most sweetest hen I have. She is so inquisitive and always "bows" for me to pet her. She's my favorite! And a great layer to boot!!
