I got the lumber and a roll of hardware cloth i needed. Plus 3 cans of paint. So i can start building. Of course we are having a heat wave.

I cut quite a lot of boards to length, these come slightly longer than 8 feet, i cut them to 93.5" so the finished wall will measure 8 feet. The boards are a bit less in size than standard 2x4 , they are 1 1/4 deep.
And i painted some until i needed a cooling break.

They seem to be going north, but the front is moving east so maybe they will visit you by tomorrow? Still stinky humid, but at least not so hot.

I went out and painted 7 more boards, cut 2 more to 12 feet.

One is going north and dissipating, another supposed to hit here tomorrow night.
You know it's been hot when 84F and 85% feels 'cool'.

Got a start on the turkey coop! Hubby was a big help.
I got another wall mostly built, but someone turned the power out without telling me. Again. These guys that are doing work are so lame it is absurd. Any way, i came back to the house and flipped on the power. Guy got zapped! Sorry, but they kept us waiting since October to finish this job and i think he deserves every volt!
Is that mean?
