Turkey hen with bloated crop; not eating much; lethargic

One pure OEGB pullet, & some mixes. There's a total of seven.
Aww, I so wish we could get some!

Maybe ¼ cup of coconut oil may get things moving. Definitely more then you'd give to a chicken.
Thank you! We gave it a try. Not sure how much she got in (there was a lot of flinging and spitting, as it's hard to open a clamped turkey mouth) but hopefully it'll help! We gave her crop a good massage. Maybe we'll try a bit more in a little while to make sure she got enough. So grateful for your prompt replies and advice! It's so helpful!

Blossom ❤️

@casportpony @MysteryChicken @Wyorp Rock , do any of you know if/when chickens/turkeys have sour crop, if they stop eating? Is there always an odor to their breath? And are their droppings tranclucent and watery?
Thank you!
If there's an oder coming from her mouth, then it's most likely sour crop. Severe cases of sour crop, the bird will stop eating.

I had myself such a case, & had to put the bird down. I have no idea how long he was suffering with sour crop. I don't know how I never noticed it.

Thank you. We never detected an odor, but we think now that it is sour crop. We had to get her some medication yesterday.

I'm very sorry to hear that that happened to one of your birds.

Here's what I found for treating Sour Crop.

You're welcome.

He was gonna get butchered anyway, so it wasn't a big loss. We have to many bantams.

Got it.

Are the bantams the chicks that you're looking to get rid of? I can ask around here if anyone is interested in bantams, if you'd like.
The chicks, & adult flock.

The adult flock will be getting butchered, but the chicks will have to be rehomed.

Yes, ask around for me? That will be greatly appreciated.
