Turkey- Pheasant Cross?

She had no toms for over 2 months by this point. I’ve seen the male pheasant mounting her as well.
The egg hatched and I’m certain it is a hybrid as it matches my pheasant chicks markings. I just incubated another egg today and am interested to see what happens again.

Still possible to produce fertile eggs after two months.

Completely understand that. However, the chick has markings that match pheasant chicks exactly. It also does not explain it hatching over a week earlier and having no snood. I have collected another egg from her to see if this occurs again.

Wow, that does look a bit different than normal turkey poults. I'm interested in seeing how it looks as it develops!
