Last round of Turkey and Chicken eggs for this batch went into lockdown on Wednesday, right away some Turkey eggs were wiggling.. 13 Turkey and 12 Chicken for this set
Day 27 today and I have kept the humidity at 55-60% and although I have laid them down the one thing I have changed is I have kept them in the Incubator with the fan instead of moving them to the still air. I woke up this morning and the Humidity had dropped to 45%.. I did a quick check, no pips so I opened the bator to add a sponge and alittle more water in the jar. Did a quick candle without moving them and lots of internal pips so here is
this round gives me more than a 50% average on turkeys. Heard some cheeps earlier , just played the sound of baby chicks and watched a chicken egg externally pip lol
Another thing I noticed that is different with this batch, the last two I have had external pips on day 26 with Turkeys, I wonder if that is because they were in a still air? This batch is doing exactly what it should at the right time..
