Thank you, I really like turkeys. All things considered, they give me far less problems than my chickens do.

Your welcome. I feel the same. got rid of my chickens so I could have more room for turkey. We still have our layers though.

Well will be interesting to see what the new one looks like when its true feathers start to come in.

I've got Royal Palm, Penciled Palm, Bourbon Red, Slate/Self Blue, Lilac, Blue Red Bronze and Red Slate. I added Black and Bronze this year (just poults right now). Black to put over my Self Blue to make a pure Slate offspring pen; Bronze to improve the Lilac. But might keep some pure Black and Bronze as well depending on how well I like them when they mature

Wow! That would be alot of pens If you where going to keep them all seperate! I wish I could have about 7 pens. My husband would never go for that! He is going to build me a pheasant pen.I cant wait to start.

These were my eggs. They started laying within a couple of days of hatching a clutch. This was only egg that made it to maturity. The only tom they hsd been with that I knew of was my blue slate. So this poults color was a suprise.

The clucth they hatched was all blue and self blue.
