Then Brad, 3rd is a local customer.

The turkeys experienced their first snow yesterday! After realizing that eating it wasn't productive, they ignored it altogether. The hens spent most of the day on our porch, they didn't particularly enjoy it on their feet. The five toms strutted all day long, and apparently the beautiful sight of them strutting in the snow was enough to woo the gray/brown hen, as she squatted and allowed one of the royal palm colored toms to breed her.

Here were the fathers, mixes between royal palm and bourbon red. I believe their coloration was somewhat like a red bronze.

And here is the mother. She was a royal palm, a not greatly colored one, but a great mother nonetheless. Some of the poults with her in this picture are in the pictures I just posted. I love the variety of chicks I got from them.

I am assuming that the 'colorful' boy is just a richly colored bronze type coloration. When the sun hits him right, he's like a jewel. The fathers were much more of a dull bronze, and lacked the green/copper tones, but they sure produced some pretty babies.
