wow so happy to see turkey eggs are eaten! I've never tried one but I sure will at some point!

Turkey eggs are eaten at least here at my house. They are delicious, my favorite kind of eggs. I would choose turkey eggs over chicken eggs any day.

A lot of people don't eat them only because laying season is short, so most eggs are for incubating to hatch out poults.

I stalked my turkeys half the morning and found her nest finally!!! After she was long gone, I reached in with a stick and moved the leaves out of the way, and she has 2 eggs in there! Yay! Covered them back up and left them.

I will know by about Wed if they are fertile. Just PM me Thurs or Fri & I'll let you know. I have 4 hens, at least 3 now laying but not all every day yet. Averaging 2 eggs per day at the moment.
