Turkey Talk for 2014

I have had the trash pick up men stop and all walk over to my side of the road making noise to get the Toms to gobble. LOL.
Men for some reason cannot resist the turkey either!

I have the same thing happen. I live by our rural Post Office. I have people bring lunches to watch my animals run around. The men always practice their turkey calls. I haven't had the heart to tell them the gobble at me if I sneeze.

Mine gobbles when I bring food, when I don't bring food, when I tell him how pretty he is, when I hen-cluck at him (I can't gobble, just cluck), when the kids yell, when the roos criw, when the goose honks....

When a bus or truck drive by, when the dogs bark, when a door shuts, when we use power tools, when we use hammers, when I bring them something they don't recognize lol

I think my husband took over on my turkeys. He makes a special trip to the shed every day to get the egg/eggs - and if there is no egg, he goes back more than once to check. I had to threaten bodily harm the other day so I could finally collect an egg! I also noticed he walks around outside gobbling to the tom so he gobbles back. He also just goes and visits them and talks to the tom like they have a bromance going on or something. I'm getting a bit jealous. The turkeys are my thing! All the birds are!
