Thank you everyone! It was interesting to find out how many would hatch out under the broody hens. I thought there would be a much better hatch rate. I started out with 21 eggs.I had 7 under each hen and after they broke a few. We ended up with 16- 18 eggs.Out of those only 7 hatched.The one we could hear peeping last night died and couldn't get out of the egg.In the bators we hatched out just under half.

No doubt about it now. My coop is going to flood. There's nothing I can do about it. I'm standing beside my run in these pictures. The water is closer than it looks. This was this morning and it's been raining most of the day. I'm afraid to go look.

Im so sorry. Are you in tx? We have widespread flooding. It will dry out.

Sorry to see that hope I dries out soon. Been raining in Mo for most of night and off and on all day.
