I still can't figure the bidding out. I'm always confused by how many times one person bids against them self. Maybe the times are off, I just don't understand, can someone explain it to me.

ok, I'll try

when you bid, you enter the amount you are willing to pay.... not necessarily the next auction price
current bid is automatically increased by 25 cents.
so if the current bid is 12.00 and you bid 50.00 the auction will only show 12.25 (nobody knows what number you entered)
but say the next person goes in and bids 13.00 they are automatically outbid because you bid 50.00) the auction will then go up to 13.25 with you being the highest bidder
then someone else comes in and bids 15.00, they are also automatically out bid (because you bid 50.00) the auction will then go up to 15.25 with you being the highest bidder
you wont be outbid until someone enters more than 50.25

I guess its the way I look at the bids that confuse me. It just appeared that the that allcracked up bid against their self, by the times they were posted and the time that the next person bid 99.25, I'm sorry I'm sounding dumb, but I'm a visual person and looking at the bid list doesn't joust my brain.

I stopped bidding at $109 bucks earlier today. Thought I would check in to see how the auction is going.

WOW! I sure hope the winner of this auction has excellent incubator. I would lay a egg myself if I paid this much and had a low hatch rate due to the ole bator acting up. I usually do around 85% but still that would be over $14 per chick. Thankfully I won the Blue Wheaten auction from ParadiseFoundFarm earlier today. Also really nice looking birds. Still....would of like to have had both

. Yep I'm green with envy.

I'm just grateful to have hens that hatched from her eggs... as well as a gorgeous splash roo.
