Twilight movie updates

And my wife said..."That's not a movie I would ever watch".

Go figure.... and we know folks who know the author of the books. (In her ward)

Twilight has been an interesting phenomenon.
For every teacher I met who loves them (the kids are reading!), there's been teacher that hates them (for the same reason ninjapoodles and I discussed earlier).

The same thing happened over the Harry Potter books.

I'm really curious to see if the movie is actually better than the book this time. Cut most of the whining, focus on the action & adventure. But it's still a modern fairy tale and we all know "happy ever after' is a lot of hard work.

SO SOMEONE PLEASE REVIEW THE MOVIE FOR ME!!!!!!!

I am going to wait until I can go with my DH. I loved the books and hope the movies are just as good. Dh won't read the "dumb girly vampire romance book" but he will take me to see it.

As for Edward being the perfect guy...there was truly only one of those. BUT...my dh is as close as they come. A true romantic, perfect gentleman, endearing, loving, extemely handsome. His only flaw is that he leaves his socks on the ground. A flaw I am more than happy to live with. Perfection is all in the eye of the beholder.

As for the review...Hasn't anyone seen it??? It is the morning after? at 6 a.m. MST. Please someone give us a review.

I'm not sure when I'm going to see the movie. I was going to go get tickets, but then, well, sometimes I get too busy to think about things like that. After the last book, I'm not too sure about this series anymore. I didn't like it at all. Juat my opinion, but she wrote way better when she wasn't writing for anyone. When she started knowing that she would be writing for millions of poeple, she got a little too stressed and carried away.

The first one was great, so I will go see the movie. I read the first book in two days, and the host in three. I was like this for them ----->

I read it (I'm a sucker for a vampire story), and while I didn't find anything offensive as far as "adult content" or anything like that, I was really disturbed by the female protagonist's character, and her relationship with her "true love."

She's just not someone I'd want my daughter to emulate in ANY way. She's shallow and whiny, and completely dependent on her boyfriend for 100% of her self-worth and happiness, which is kind of sad.

I'm hoping the movie will actually improve on these characterizations a little!

That is so true! I agree 100%

Well. Now that I'm able to talk,

I have to say, it was amazing. It stayed true to the book, and was great. My grandma went and she hadn't read the book and she loved it. My favorite part.

You know when he catches the aple in his hand? Well, does that hand position with the apple look familiar? Let me give you a hint, like the cover of the book? Wow. It was awesome.
