Hate the show they made on cable, though. Only watched one episode and was very disappointed...

I didn't know that it was a series of books until last week. I don't get to read anymore since the tot

But I love True Blood. I think it's great! I'm going to be so bored now on Sunday nights

So does everyone think this author of "Twilight" is moving in a direction of Anne Rice series of books? If so, that would be BRILLIANT. These books have got my teenage and Tween reading and hungry for the Next the Next the Next. Genes are funny. I was reading Anne Rice Chronicles when I was a teenager. So I guess my daughters got it honest...right? lol

I took my daughter and her friend to see the movie Saturday (they are 19 & 18). They have both read the books multiple times and are "in love" with Edward. Daughter thought the movie was fabulous even though it was not "exactly" like the book, her friend thought it was horrible. Me, not having read the books, I loved it! Although I got in big trouble when I told them that Jacob was hands down much hotter than Edward!

No. There is no way she could ever write at that level. IMO the only reason she's re-writing the books from Edward's point of view is because of all the Edward fans who'll run out and buy the books again (i.e. marketing - it's all about the money!).

My daughter told me she's writing the books from Edward's point of view because of all the adventures he has while he's away from Bella in book 2. It's also supposed to have more history behind the other members of the Cullen family and how they all became a family....

$ or not, I'd like to read it....

The movie was OK. The books were definately better.

Oh and michelle1017... I have to agree with the girls... Edward is HOT!!! Better than Jacob or Mike.

I have never seen True Blood.. I dont have HBO

LOL!!! Finally!
The whole cullen family was perfect in my eyes. Of corse the books were better, books will always be better than movies. I went with the attitude of going to see a good movie, not to criticize it and say how it was compared to the book because, when compared to the book, the book wins with flying colors.

I still think that this would be an excellent Edward. (With a few minor changes, like dying the hair and growing it out a little, and learning how to speak English... This is Vitas)

I hope she still does. She had trouble with people that she gave copies to posting it on the internet. I don't know if she is going to finish it. She actually posted it on her website, http://www.stepheniemeyer.com/ I was going to read it, but when I tried, I couldn't get myself to read it. I feel so bad for what happened...

OH! Now I get the "Vitas is great" stuff I've been hearing all over the freakin' place!

I want to read the books now. Are they pretty expensive?

Click on one of my links in my sig and see why he's great. lol

I don't think the books are too expensive. I'd just buy one at a time, but you will end up buying all of them.
