two day old chick with protruding vent! help!

I ordered spme cochin bantams from ideal and they arrived yesterday. They seemed fine but today one of them has a protruding vent and can't seem to pass any stool without straining and chirping loudly in pain. Even then it doesn't really succeed.. it is also very lethargic and won't eat or drink. Just sleeps. I removed it from the cage with the others and I have been cleaning the vent area with warm water several times today. I just got some preparation h to reduce the swelling. They have all been on medicated feed and I gave them some vitamins and electrolytes in the water yesterday. Is there anything else I can do for this little one? Should I try to get it to eat something or wait for the swelling to go down? Thanks so much guys this website has already provided me with so much helpful info!
