Hello! I need to find a new home/s for two handsome boys. One is a pure "Bantam Cochin" aka "Pekin". He is indeed very handsome, about a year old, very vigilant and a good protector of his ladies. He doesn't like to be caught, but he doesn't "bolt" either. He will sit calmly in your lap, and will readily take food from your hand (but usually gives it to his girls.) He has glorious feathering on his feet and legs, which require monitoring (like all feathery feet) for mites and caked dirt.
The other boy is half Pekin, half Silkie, hatched this past 2nd week of June. Definitely a boy, as he's tried to mate already (and got the tar beaten out of him by the hen.... ooops.) He's a real sweetie, and will also eat from a hand and come up close. "Reese's", as we call him, has a cute pompadour from his Silkie mama, and generous feathered legs from his daddy. Looks like he may have the rounded tail of the Pekin too, and possibly a rose comb. 4 toes each foot, and tight feathers. He's a cutie.
I need to rehome them because I have too many roo's now, and they are starting to get on each other's nerves. Little Reese's is getting picked on.
