Two questions for gun control people

Look, who wrote the book(s) is NOT using all the gun laws.
There are so many laws already that aren't being enforced, instead they just make new ones

A law that isn't being enforced strictly is purchasing guns online. You need to have a licensed person to transact it. But now you can bride some guy over the internet with money to send you the gun without it. Cause they don't keep a record of what gun is buying marketed online

I guess ya'll aren't really getting it.
I never said it WASN'T being enforced they just aren't being as strict. And no, not from a craigslist dohicky site.
Instead of getting more gun laws from some person, they should just be alot more strict with the ones they havr now. Like there is this site where you meet someone and they sell you high powerd rifles and etc, and if the government already know, why not stop them? Cause the Colorado shooting happend cause this person sold the prick those guns in the back of his car! I mean.. woow

I know cause my father is a federal agent~
What was it you never said ?

This quote is from ABC news

Suspected Colorado movie theater gunman James Holmes purchased four guns at local shops and more than 6,000 rounds of ammunition on the Internet in the past 60 days, Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates told a news conference this evening.
"All the ammunition he possessed, he possessed legally, all the weapons he possessed, he possessed legally, all the clips he possessed, he possessed legally," an emotional Oates said.

So are you saying that the Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates is lying ?

I can meet people online and buy anything I want practically. I can meet a heroin dealer online and buy some heroin if I wanted to. It is still illegal. Buying firearms from a private sale is also not illegal.

I personally have no problem with requiring a background check for all face to face gun sales. What I do have a problem with is when they require all transactions to be through a gun dealer. They don't do transfers for free and why should I have to pay fees to a third person to transfer a firearm to one of my sons? Most dealers charge a minimum of $25.00 for any transfer and oftentimes that is per firearm.

My solution is to allow the average citizen to use 4473 forms and have access to do an NICS check the same as a federal firearm licensee. I have even offered this as a partial solution to my US senators and representative. The seller then has a copy of the buyer's information and the security of knowing that the buyer passed the NICS check. NICS checks are quick and my dealer does his online.

Ok?

A partial solution to the problem suggested by my son-in-law, a gun owner and enthusiast. You can't control; the amount and type of guns already in circulation. You can however severely restrict the sale of ammo, and also the type of available. In a civilised society it should be impossible to buy 6,000 rounds of ammo. There can be no justification for storing that amount. That is an act of agression
