After repeatedly contacting Purina about their allowable levels, I finally received a reply. I thought I would share so that anyone following this thread or finding it will have the info.

Basically as little as we can possibly control. We test incoming ingredients and refuse those that are contaminated. If there is any aflatoxin present, it is generally extremely low, below the limit of detection (which is 5 parts per billion), well below any level that would remotely be a health concern (the allowable limit, according to the FDA, in a finished feed for poultry is 20 ppb, which they have deemed the upper safe tolerance level. The upper safe tolerance level is defined as that concentration which can be continuously fed without negative health effects). To the customer’s concern, we don’t have a formulated allowable limit – we are always shooting for zero contamination. That’s why we spend tens of thousands of dollars every year on ingredient testing.
