Some days ago, we were parking our car, and we gave a friendly wave to an AT and T repair man in his truck, finishing his lunch.
He smiled, waved back, backed his truck up, hitting an orange traffic cone. It lodged underneath his truck, thumping orange as he quickly drove away, smiling still, but unaware of what just transpired.

My DH remarked, "Hmmm...Sometimes you're the truck... and sometimes...you're the cone." lol Maybe you're having a cone day?

(Guess you just had to be there...)

Ha ha ha! Thanks! That made me feel better! I feel like the ground that the cone got dragged on... lol, but yeah, deff a cone day!

Lol! Thanks! Yeah, I think i need to wear my cousin's steel toed work boots everywhere! I could wear them, he is size 10 (in men) and I can wear his shoes... I have elephant feet. lol

Thanks, that's not my only problem, but a constant throbbing toe is a reminder, lol

Really????? My aunt invited me to go with her to church today. She talked about HOW EXCITED she was about spending "more time with me". I sacrificed my one day that I get to sleep in. I woke up, then I guess I fell back asleep, and overslept 45 mins! I still got up, got dressed and did my hair, makeup and brushed my teeth and had 5 mins to spare. I called to say I was ready whenever and she says "Oh, didn't you get my message? We're not going after all... I'll see you in the morning, ok? I'll pick you up at 7. Bye!".............

I didn't want to get mad so I held it in. I am going to be doing her a HUGE favor by staying with her two baby granddaughters 3 days a week, cause her car isn't big enough to carry all of the kids.
She better show up, that's all I'm saying!

I called up a friend and I'm going with her to church a little later. I am going to try to make the best of a morning that started off going wrong...
