Ugly 3.5 week old chicks .. first trip outside. *PICS*

I hate this stage, and love this stage! They always look like they got caught in a fan!

Some times I still have a heart attack when I look outside and see a chicken sprawled out on the ground, flat as a pancake... I'll rush over to make sure they are ok, and they'll look at me as if I just completely ruined their whole day because I disturbed them

Are your Salmon Favs standard or bantam? I got 8 chicks, and once they started feathering out, realized I had 6 roos

I'm keeping one of the boys... He's my little buddy. Peep-eep will run to greet me, jump into my lap, and he loves to be held and carried around... Oh yeah, he's not spoiled at all

I'm sure your babies are the same amount of spoiled-ness

They are so goofy they can't help but be cute at that stage

They are standard. All four of them. 3 Roos and and Hen .. sounds like a chicken movie title, huh??

I really really really like the white boy, but who wants a white SF roo?? Puleeeese. One of the reason I liked this breed was because I like the looks of the roo ...

I don't even know if white is acceptable or desirable .. I did know it was a possibility, because the breeder mentioned it..
