Where did you get the Permethrin and do you administer directly onto your birds? A lot of the American posters use Permethrin spray but i can't find it online at all!

It is nettex poultry lice and mite treatment. It is concentrated so you mix some with water. The dust I use is battles mite and lice powder. I got both from my local feed store. I'll see if I can find it online for you.
 
Hi. I’m in the US. There are sprays and also spray concentrates at farm supply stores but they are in the horse or livestock section.

Here is an example of a concentrate. It only takes a minuscule amount of the product mixed with water to make a whole sprayer bottle. Please read info booklet.

I did wonder if it was Nettex, when I googled Permithrin a picture off the nettex came up but I couldn’t find the ingredients so wasn’t sure.
 
You'll just need to keep on top of it now. The mites live inbetween the wooden panels and under roofing felt where you can't spray them unless you take the coop to pieces! Change the bedding every 5-7 days to try and break the cycle of eggs.
I'm sorry that you may have Marek's also. But that doesn't mean the end of it. They can live through the initial illness and live a fairly normal life. But stress from changes in weather conditions and other illness or moulting can cause it to come back. You also can't introduce any new birds. If it is and you do decide to cull them you will have to sanitize and disinfect everything where they have been including the ground and soil where they have been. They recommend that you don't have any more chickens on the same ground for about 24 mths after. If I'm wrong on anything please correct me. It may be that your are clear but you will have to see what further tests reveal.
