Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas yesterday.

How are we all coping with the miserable weather? Seems autumn and winter so far have been total washouts. Constant drizzle and mud everywhere. My poor chickens have probably forgotten what sunlight is!

Its been a nice couple of days. Hope you had a good time. I keep getting weather alerts on my phone, so far we've had a warning for several inches of snow, then for wind, then snow, then ice, then a heatwave, now flood warnings so far all I've seen is rain! The chickens have seem to have decided to start laying though despite the weather so that's good!

my pullets have started laying too, though some of them prefer to hide their nests, so now they're penned until they've learned to lay in the nest boxes!

How early is too early to start putting easter eggs out in the shops? My local co-op has Easter bunnies next to chocolate Santa's
