I suspect she had something wrong that left her susceptible to the sour crop, she deteriorated so fast. She was always very greedy but also the smallest of the 4. We have eggs in the incubator now but only 3 out of 7 look good. Due to hatch Monday. Thanks again for your help.

Hi, Hampshire based, have ducks and chickens.
Addicted to hatching My babies are so confused with this awful weather, moulting is all out of whack, as is laying. I feel so sorry for them getting 30c one day and 13c the next.

we've had more of a never-ending spring here in the west - hardly any warm days at all, and yes, you're right, it's throwing a lot of natural cycles out of kilter.
How many ducks and chickens have you got?

Where in SW France are you, we used to live in the South East (St Maxime, Golfe de St Tropez) but moved back to the UK at the end of 2020. I’ve lived in a whole list of places too, from the top of the UK to the bottom (almost).
