He already has the fire going,,, All you need to provide is the marshmallows.

I understand that fox are a common predator in the UK. Fox can dig under fences. So can you. I think I may need to stop,,,,, before I get my bacon in trouble with suggestions.

The pictures are there but under a SPOILER, marked Fowl. I did not want to get scolded for posting pictures of chickens on a PIGEON THREAD.
My fear..

They are from a member that lives not far from me in Illinois. I hang out on the Illinois State thread.

Post as many pics of chickens as you like! Most of us have chickens and ducks also! I don't tend to hang out on chicken threads really so I always post here! It's a risky business letting young children especially grandkids name chickens, you will probably end up with some really random names or the more recent kids cartoon character names! They are sweet looking things though. When do you get them?

good idea on the marshmallows! :thumbsup

I love the seramas! :love they are beautiful! So small and cute. I won't scold you for posting a chicken in here though... :old

I look forward to hearing the names!
Well,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, the grandchildren did not make it over this weekend, so I was not able to hold off tooooooooo long without giving them names. Named the Penciled Gray one DYNA, and the White and Tan one SAVANNAH. These are Biker Chick names. :thumbsup

Oh,,,,, and they can fly. Way better than my OEGH. The gray one flew into a tree 25 feet up. The circle shows where she is.

I like the names. Good choice! How you gonna get Dyna out the tree? Are you sure it's a chicken and not a pigeon?!!

It may be a pidgi-chicken cross:old..:gig
Took the hose and shot a squirt up there. She flew horizontally about 70 feet away from the tree. She is definitely a record holder for flight from my flock.
BTW,,, the integration of newcomers into existing flock going smooooooothly.:thumbsup

I'm now conflicted. I love my racers and won't give them up for anything, but since I've got the fantails and have the archangels on order I keep thinking about the world of fancy pigeons and it seems also to be alot of fun. I spoke to a guy from the NPA which is the national pigeon association and he was great fun too talk too! I'm still having a few problems with local clubs for racing and I'm not sure I can be bothered with chasing around all the time. And even with my loft extension, I still won't have enough birds to last a season with inevitable losses. I know it's a personal choice but I was wondering what you guys may think.
